athanur > This is an example of the famous terraced rice paddy fields in Bali (Ubud). Since land is expensive and hilly, the Balinese have ingeniously converted the slopes to cultivate rice. FYI, many tourists stop here for a photo op and a lot of locals will peddle touristy crap.
